Welcome to our policies page. If we do not explain a subject clearly, feel free to contact us for more information
Payment is due at the time of your appointment. We accept cash, check, PayPal and Venmo. Future sessions cannot be booked if there is an outstanding balance on your account.
Cancellation/No Show Policy
You are welcome to cancel your appointment up to 24 hours in advance of your appointment time. No shows and cancellations after 24 hours are subject to a fee of 50% of the session cost. This will be waived if the appointment slot can be filled. Exceptions can be made on a case by case basis for emergencies, illness, and unpredictable Minnesota weather.
Gift Certificate Policy
Gift certificates are non-refundable and non-transferable. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash. If the cost of a service exceeds the amount on the gift certificate then the difference must be paid at the time of the appointment. Gift certificates can only be redeemed by the customer named on the gift certificate. Gift certificates do not have an expiration date and are not subject to blackout dates.
Cell Phone Policy
We prefer that cell phones do not come into the treatment room at all. If you would like your phone in the room it must be turned to silent (no vibration). This is a time when your body wants your attention. Cell phone alerts are a distraction to the client and the therapist.
Right to Refusal
It is very important to understand that as the client, you have every right to alter the session. We will go over the session plan with you and ensure that it is a plan you are okay with by asking you directly. If at any point in time you would like to make changes, you are welcome to speak up during your session and we can change it. If there is a reason you want the session to stop, you are welcome to end the session. You are the expert of your body and we will honor that.
At Waniya Healing, we hold a value that each person is worthy of kindness and respect. We will honor your boundaries and trust you with your process. With that in mind we also expect that we will receive the same treatment. Disrespect shown to a therapist or the policies in place may result in the client being asked to leave the premises and not allowed to return.
