Yoga

Yoga classes are an excellent opportunity to grow your personal practice, improve your health, and connect with others in the community.

Yoga is the practice of uniting the body, mind, and spirit with the breath. It is learning how to be fully present right here, right now. At Waniya Healing, we recognize the presence and the love of God in our yoga practice, aware that our breath and our life come as a gift from Him. As we move through the asanas (yoga poses), we explore ourselves with our breath, allowing it to open and stabilize us as we grow in strength, flexibility, balance, and love for God, for others, and for ourselves.

Yoga with Waniya Healing is the furthest thing from rigid. Each person comes with a unique story and a unique body. Even if we all practice the same flow, none of us will have the same experience on our mat. Bethany has received extensive training to make yoga and its postures available to every body type.

Group classes are not available at this time.

 

Private Yoga Class

Sometimes it helps to have some one-on-one time with an instructor. Perhaps you are nervous about trying yoga for the first time in a group, maybe you are struggling with the breath work, you might feel like you can't get comfortable in the Warrior poses, or your wrists hurt when you do Downward Facing Dog... whatever the reason, it is nice to be able to just ask all of the questions and get the hands-on training if you feel like you need it. Private classes are held in Bethany's home office.
